Your information is the information that's required when you sign up for the site, as well as the information you choose to share.

Registration information

When you sign up for Dubaimoon, you are required to provide your phone number, name, email address, birthday and gender.

Your name, profile picture, networks, username and User ID are treated just like information you choose to make public.

Your birthday allows us to do things like show you age-appropriate content and advertisements.

Other information we receive about you

We also receive other types of information about you:

We receive data about you whenever you interact with Dubaimoon, such as when you look at another person's profile, send someone a message, search for a friend or a Page, click on an advert or pay for any Dubaimoon services.

When you post things like photos or videos on dubaimoon, we may receive additional related data (or metadata), such as the time, date and place you took the photo or video.

We receive data from the computer, mobile phone or other device you use to access dubaimoon. This may include your IP address, location, the type of browser you use or the pages you visit. For example, we may find your GPS location so we can tell you if any of your friends are nearby.

Sometimes we get data from our advertising partners, customers and other third parties that helps us (or them) deliver ads, understand online activity, and generally make Dubaimoon better. For example, an advertiser may tell us how you responded to an ad on Dubaimoon or on another site in order to measure the effectiveness of - and improve the quality of - those ads.

When I put information about myself on Dubaimoon, what do the other users see?

To ensure you get to meet as many people as possible on Dubaimoon, other members get to see your user name and any information you post on your Profile, including photos if you select the 'Any users' access setting. Any information you choose to provide should reflect how much you want other Dubaimoon members to know about you. You can also choose to limit the information that other users see by adjusting your privacy settings in the “Settings” page.

What am I allowed to do with other user’s personal information?

Use it to meet new friends and make new contacts! Beware that you may not use other users' information for commercial purposes, to spam, to harass, or to make unlawful threats. Dubaimoon reserves the right to terminate the accounts of those who misuse other users' information or who otherwise violate the Terms and Conditions.

What information does Dubaimoon collect about my friends and contacts?

You can choose to invite your friends to join Dubaimoon to make sure that they also get the benefits of meeting new people. To make it easier to search and find friends and acquaintances on Dubaimoon, users may search for other members using first and last name, email address and location. If you want to invite your friends and contacts to become a Dubaimoon member, we will send an email. If any of the individuals you have invited do not register within a few days, Dubaimoon may occasionally send reminder emails on your behalf to those individuals. You can choose to invite all your friends or only a select few by simply unticking the names of those friends you do not wish to invite, but please remember you must not invite any children to join. You are responsible for ensuring that your friend has agreed to receiving a Dubaimoon invite.

When we send an email to invite your friend or contact, we store their name and email address. Dubaimoon does not sell these email addresses or mobile numbers or use them to send any other communication besides invitations. The friend may contact Dubaimoon to request the removal of their information from our database by visiting Feedback page. Any such request will only apply to addresses or mobile numbers we have at the time of the request and not to any addresses that the member/user provides to us later.

Deletion

When you delete an account, it is permanently deleted from Dubaimoon. It typically takes about one month to delete an account, but some information may remain in backup copies and logs for up to 90 days. You should only delete your account if you are sure you never want to reactivate it.

Getting permission to use someone else's material in your video

The rights to any screen shots or footage of third party content on our site are not ours to grant. Additionally, there is no general public record of who owns the rights to particular works. We therefore can't assist you with identifying and contacting the party that owns the rights to a particular work. You would need to follow up with the individual content owners regarding the rights to this footage. You may want to try emailing the user through your Dubaimoon account.

We provide content owners with the ability to control the use of their content on Dubaimoon. Because content owners have the right to change their mind about how their content is displayed on our site, it's possible that content that was once allowed is subsequently blocked. Also, it is possible that multiple parties hold rights to a different components (e.g. audio, video) of a copyrighted work. While one owner may allow the use of their material on Dubaimoon, another may decide to disallow use.

Online safety tips!

  • Don't give out any personal information! Keep your address, phone numbers and personal email address hidden on your profile
  • Be careful having a sexy username, you don't want to give the wrong impression, we suggest using your first name only if you feel more comfortable
  • Please keep your password secure! Never enter your Dubaimoon password on other sites that offer you discounts on Dubaimoon, free goods etc., otherwise your account may be stolen or blocked.
  • Please DO NOT give out any financial information to anyone. Be vigilant when people ask for your bank account details, credit card number or any other financial information. DO NOT send any money to anybody. Be especially aware of people who are pretending to be a representative of our company or other companies and are asking to pay for delivery of a prize or service that is not offered directly on the Dubaimoon website. Also, use extreme caution with people who say they are in trouble or who ask for money and promise to return it, most often they use fake photos and will disappear after they receive a money transfer.
  • When you start chatting to someone new, ask them for some recent photographs of themselves, ideally taken within the last 4 weeks
  • Don't put up with any abuse, harassment, or other contact you feel uncomfortable with. Feel free to block or report anyone who doesn't abide by our Guidelines.
  • When you feel ready to arrange a meeting, consider telling a friend where you are going, just to be on the safe side. Always try to speak to someone on the phone first before agreeing to meet up in person.

Meeting up with a Guy or Girl

  • Always meet in a busy public place in daylight
  • Tell others where you are planning to go and arrange a check up phone call or text message
  • Remember to stay sober!
  • Arrange your own transportation to and from the venue where you are going to meet, don't agree to meet at your flat or house or their property the first time
